In the latest episode of "Imlie," Sai, Dhairya, and Atharva's lives were intertwined with workplace challenges and sweet gestures.
Sai's Workplace Challenges
The episode began with Sai at work when she received a call
from a client named Shukla inquiring about a consignment that hadn't been
delivered yet. Sai promised to look into it and went outside to investigate.
She discovered that the truck carrying the consignment was still parked,
delayed due to a punctured tire. Frustrated, she instructed her employee to
replace the tire and make the delivery promptly.
However, her employee responded rudely, stating that he took
orders from Rudra and received his salary from Dhairya, not from Sai. This
attitude infuriated Sai, and she also noted Dhairya's tardiness for work.
Dhairya's Sweet Gesture
Meanwhile, Dhairya's mother advised him to offer malpua (a
traditional Indian sweet) to Sai and apologize to her. Initially hesitant,
Dhairya agreed to his mother's request. He got ready for work with the
intention of making amends.
Atharva's Thoughtful Gesture
Atharva, on the other hand, was excited to do something special
for Imlie. He initially considered meeting his friend but decided to surprise
Imlie with chocolates instead. However, when his family noticed him decorating
a box of chocolates, they teased him about planning a date with Imlie. Atharva
hesitated but eventually disclosed that it was a special day—his wife Imlie's
first day of her monthly cycle. This revelation made the family uncomfortable,
and Ginni, in particular, was taken aback.
To ease Imlie's discomfort, Ginni offered a heating pad
along with chocolates and flowers. Atharva expressed regret for not paying
attention to his sister's needs earlier.
Sai's Frustration and Dhairya's Help
Back at Sai's workplace, her frustration grew as the client
repeatedly called, demanding the prompt delivery of the consignment. Despite
Sai's requests, her employee refused to cooperate, citing that he would only
take orders from Dhairya.
With time running out, Sai decided to replace the truck's
tire herself, despite experiencing severe cramps. Her employees ridiculed her
for the effort. However, Dhairya arrived just in time to help her. Dhairya
questioned whether she was attempting to take over the employees' jobs, and Sai
clarified that she only acted out of necessity.
Atharva's Sweet Gesture Goes Unnoticed
Upon returning to her cabin, Sai was offered malpua by
Dhairya, which his mother had sent. Imlie gladly accepted it, as she had been
craving homemade sweets. Atharva also entered with chocolates and flowers for
Imlie, but she explained that Dhairya had already brought her malpua. Atharva
thanked Dhairya for his thoughtful gesture.
As Atharva offered chocolates to Dhairya, the latter
declined and made a comment about not indulging in "desi" sweets.
Atharva tried to offer him chocolates again, but Dhairya declined, claiming
that "English" items didn't suit him. This exchange showcased the
playful camaraderie between the characters.
A Sweet Ending
The episode ended on a sweet note as Imlie returned home and
served malpua to her family. Atharva jokingly mentioned how Imlie had rejected
his chocolates for the malpua, to which Imlie playfully responded that it was
the same malpua Atharva didn't like. The family shared light-hearted banter,
and Ginni teased Atharva about his reaction to Imlie's preference for malpua
over chocolates.
Despite the workplace challenges and humorous family interactions, the characters continued to navigate their relationships and responsibilities in the ever-changing dynamics of their lives.
COMING UP: Atharva tells Imlie that it’s time to take forward their
relationship further and takes phreaks with her again. Dhairya thinks Rudra
left his mother for Atharva’s sake and gave all his right to Atharva, so he
will snatch Atharva’s rights from him, which he deserves.
