Strings of Love - Starlife Friday 12th October 2023 update

Angad, in a fit of anger, forcefully tries to make Sahiba eat, but she staunchly refuses. He taunts her by saying that she wanted him to assert his rights, and now she will witness it. Angad shoves food into her mouth, but Sahiba clenches her mouth shut. Bebe intervenes, scolding Angad and warning him to stop his inhuman behavior. Sahiba retorts that he has only fed his own arrogance, not her. She mentions that her family's mistakes have bound her, or else she would have given him a fitting response.

Sahiba returns to the storeroom and cries, remembering Ajith's advice not to change herself for anyone and endure injustice. She vows to respond strongly to Angad once her family's situation improves. Recollections of her bonding with her father fill her thoughts as the song "O Ri Chiraiya" plays in the background. Eventually, Sahiba falls asleep.

In the morning, Sahiba is awakened by a knock at the door. She opens it, and Gurleen and Veer ask for permission to enter. Sahiba nods in agreement, and Gurleen invites her to participate in the Kanak Deni ritual. Gurleen explains the significance of the ritual, where a husband gifts various items to his wife as a symbol of respect, support, and care. Sahiba contemplates the idea of Angad performing this ritual despite their strained relationship. She asks Gurleen if she still wants her to partake in it, knowing the circumstances. Gurleen responds that it's Darji's wish, which should be respected. Sahiba agrees to participate.

Later, Sahiba enters the living room and attempts to touch Bebe's feet, but Bebe stops her. Hansraj mocks Sahiba, stating that she no longer looks like the bride from her wedding day and has returned to her ordinary self. Prabjot and Manveer join in, insulting Sahiba and suggesting it will take her a long time to meet their standards. Sahiba maintains her composure, stating that she lives a simple life and doesn't place a high value on expensive clothes and jewelry.

Angad arrives, and Bebe requests that he perform the Kanak Deni ritual. Gurleen asks him to present a tray of gifts to Sahiba while making oaths to protect and respect her. However, Angad declines and proceeds to humiliate Sahiba further. Darji enters and questions the commotion, while Hansraj asks Jasleen if she is enjoying the free entertainment.

Ajith, elsewhere, notices someone helping with the cooking and inquires about the chole being boiled. Keerat explains that she is responsible for it and offers Ajith some tea. She admits that she may not be as helpful as Sahiba but will do her best. Santosh prepares food for Sahiba and expresses her intention to deliver it to her. However, Ajith intervenes, stating that Sahiba will not want to see her after she played a part in ruining her life.

Back at the Brar mansion, Gurleen insists that Angad present gifts to Sahiba while taking oaths. Angad agrees but takes this opportunity to verbally attack Sahiba. Sahiba refuses to accept his charity and asserts that she has been working since childhood, capable of providing for herself and her family. She emphasizes that she values self-respect more than money and continues to give Angad a fitting response.

COMING UP

Santosh goes to meet Sahiba and says she realized her value after losing her. Angad humiliates her and orders security to kick her out. Sahiba warns him that he doesn’t have any right to misbehave with her family.
