Kanha asks Sayuri how she's feeling now, and she replies
that she's fine but notices that he looks a bit down. He assures her that he's
just checking in on her. Sayuri shares that she's feeling really good because
they woke up early, and now they can spend quality time together as a family.
She insists that Kanha take on some responsibilities, like bathing the
"baby" first. Playfully, she scolds him for not bringing any gifts
for the baby since it was born. Kanha explains that they were advised not to
bring anything new until the pooja is done, but he promises to go and get some
toys. Sayuri suggests colorful soft toys. She then takes her teddy baby
downstairs to meet Saroj.
Yash informs the Chaudhrys that he has already spoken to his
lawyer, who will handle Kanha's case. He mentions that the police will visit
them for routine questioning. Dhanraj assures Yash that they will cooperate
fully to protect Kanha. Sayuri joins them with Kanha and apologizes for her
late arrival. She asks Saroj to hold her grandson. Saroj takes the teddy baby,
and once Sayuri leaves, she tosses it away. Kanha picks up the teddy and asks
Saroj to act normally in front of Sayuri.
The police arrive at the Chaudhrys' house, and the inspector
explains that they are there for a routine investigation because Rishi's
parents have pressed murder charges against Kanha. However, they know it's an
invalid case since Kusum had already filed physical and mental harassment
charges against Rishi, who had escaped from jail. The police are investigating
whether Rishi died from injuries sustained during the fight or from other
causes. Yash expresses relief, knowing that his lawyer will handle the case
from this point on.
Rashmi notices Nakul carrying toys and questions his
seriousness. Nakul explains that he's bringing toys for Sayuri's teddy because
Sayuri asked Kanha why nobody brought gifts for her baby. Rashmi advises Nakul
to be practical and support Sayuri's mental state. Nakul defends his emotional
support for his brother and SIL, criticizing Rashmi for being superficial.
Rashmi, as usual, blames Sayuri for Nakul's change in behavior towards her.
Yash reassures Kanha not to worry about the case and focus
on Sayuri. Indu breaks down, unable to bear seeing Sayuri's condition, and
Bhanu comforts her. Nakul offers toys to Sayuri's "baby," making her
happy. Sayuri, seeing a small teddy, believes Nakul brought a miniature version
of their baby. The family is saddened by her words. Kanha asks Sayuri to
consider returning to her teaching job, but she insists on taking care of her
baby and suggests the college management find her replacement. Both Kanha and
Nakul emphasize that no one can replace her. Sayuri playfully scolds them for
not naming the baby yet. Each family member suggests a name, but Sayuri decides
she will choose a name later and goes to bathe her "baby," leaving
Saroj concerned for her well-being.
