Sayuri writhes in pain after Rishi pushes her away, causing her to fall onto the ground on her stomach. Kanha, along with Nakul and Yash, rushes to the scene. Sayuri calls out to Kanha. He runs to her side, and Sayuri implores him to save Kusum first. They all notice Rishi attempting to harm Kusum. Yash and Nakul engage in a physical confrontation with Rishi and his goons, but the goons overpower them. Kanha steps in to support them, and together, they manage to fend off Rishi's assailants. Kanha and Kusum then hurry Sayuri to the hospital.

Kusum advises Nakul to inform the family about Sayuri's condition and the incident that occurred. Initially hesitant, Rishi eventually agrees. Kusum contacts Saroj and informs her of everything that transpired. Saroj is left devastated, recalling her earlier warning to Sayuri to be cautious for the sake of her baby. Sayuri had assured her that she would take good care of the baby, but now her priority was Kusum's life. The lady doctor notices that Sayuri's condition is critical and calls for a senior doctor. Kusum feels overwhelmed and holds herself responsible for the problems facing her family. Kanha offers her solace. Sayuri's condition stabilizes after receiving treatment from the senior doctor.

Nakul and Yash return home, still reeling from the memory of Rishi's demise during their confrontation. Kanha inquires about Rishi, and they inform him that Rishi had passed away. The family enters and stands in shock upon hearing this news. Saroj expresses her concern for Kusum's well-being and asks if she is alright. Kusum reassures her that she is fine. Daadi Mausi queries how Rishi had met his end. Yash suggests they provide the details later, as their immediate concern should be Sayuri. A doctor approaches them and conveys the distressing news that they were unable to save Sayuri's baby but managed to save Sayuri with great difficulty.

The Chaudhrys are left devastated upon hearing this news. Kanha asks if Sayuri is aware of the loss. The doctor replies that she is not and suggests that one of the family members break the news to her. Kanha is filled with sorrow as he contemplates how to deliver this heartbreaking news to Sayuri. Meanwhile, Sayuri speaks to her baby, promising that she will take good care of it and that their father will look after both of them. Kanha musters the strength to inform her that their baby did not survive. Sayuri breaks down and collapses. Saroj blames Sayuri for losing the baby despite her earlier warning. Bhanu intervenes, reminding Saroj that Sayuri had risked her life to save Saroj's daughter, and she had lost her baby in the process. Instead of criticizing her, Saroj should support Sayuri. The doctor examines Sayuri and reports that she is physically fine. Kanha breaks down in tears while looking at his devastated wife.
