The Chaudhry family anxiously inquires about Sayuri's condition from the doctor, who explains that she is recovering but needs to be kept away from further stress. Nakul suggests that Kanha should stay with Sayuri, and the rest of them can wait outside. He contacts Dhanraj and apprises him of the entire incident, prompting Dhanraj to hurry to the hospital. Kanha tenderly cares for the sleeping Sayuri and tears up, while the song "Ishq Masoom Hai" plays softly in the background. In her sleep, Sayuri mumbles about wearing matching dresses with her baby, causing Kanha to break down even further.

Yash offers tea to Nakul and mentions that he needs to tend to his family since Kanha is with Sayuri. He also offers tea to the other family members, providing them with comfort. Kusum asks Yash about Sayuri's condition, to which he responds positively. Sayuri wakes up and joyfully congratulates Kanha on becoming a father. She believes a teddy bear is her baby and requests Kanha to bring the baby to her. Kanha hands the teddy bear to her, and Sayuri lovingly dotes on it, insisting that it looks just like Kanha. Kanha tries to clarify that it's just a teddy bear, but Sayuri scolds him, unwilling to accept that a Chaudhry family grandson could be referred to as a teddy bear.

Overwhelmed, Kanha experiences a panic attack and steps out. The doctor notices his distress and offers him an antianxiety spray. Kanha reveals that Sayuri is mistaking the teddy bear for their child. The doctor explains that sometimes the brain fails to process tragic news, leading to the creation of an alternate reality. Therefore, Kanha should support Sayuri until she comes to terms with the actuality of the situation. Meanwhile, Yash receives a call from the inspector regarding Rishi's death and requests the inspector to manage the situation for a while. He contemplates how to break the news to the
Chaudhry family, as only he and Nakul are aware of it. Yash approaches Nakul, expressing his uncertainty about how to proceed.

Kanha rejoins the family and informs them that Sayuri is refusing to accept that their baby has not survived. He recounts the entire situation to them. Back at home, Saroj laments that they were attempting to rid themselves of one problem only for another to arise. Daadi Mausi mentions that the pandit had warned them of issues due to Sayuri's baby, but Sayuri had disregarded their advice and acted carelessly. Bhanu warns Daadi Mausi not to discuss this matter in front of Kanha and Sayuri, as they are already under considerable stress. The family members concur with Bhanu's suggestion. Yash continues to receive calls from the inspector. Sayuri returns home with Kanha, cradling the teddy bear like a real baby, and insists that the family welcome her baby.
