Imlie - Starlife Wednesday 11th October 2023 update

 

Chini returned to Anu's residence, urgently summoning her presence. Atharva, accompanied by his family and the police, entered, demanding immediate information regarding Imlie's whereabouts. Chini, visibly flustered, greeted them with an uneasy "hi." Atharva, haunted by memories of Chini's transgressions against him and his kin, pressed for answers regarding Imlie's inexplicable absence and her unresponsiveness to phone calls. The inspector urged Imlie to speak up.

Without delay, Atharva whisked Imlie away, prompting a protest from Anu, who vehemently implored him to release her "baby" and lodged a complaint with the inspector. It was then that Chini divulged the unsettling truth - Imlie was currently with Dhairya. Keya seized the opportunity to taunt Atharva, questioning why Imlie was in Dhairya's company, despite Atharva's prior assertion that she was at work. Atharva, puzzled by Chini's revelation, demanded an explanation of her connection to Dhairya.

As events unfolded, Imlie continued to shadow Atharva. Meanwhile, a concerned neighbor informed Dhairya of his mother's predicament. Amma had barricaded herself in the kitchen, fervently preparing malpua. Dhairya urgently rapped on the door, beseeching his mother to grant him entry. Amma, incoherently muttering about someone needing malpua, failed to respond to his pleas. In a moment of panic, Dhairya broke the window's iron bars and entered the kitchen through the window. Imlie, not far behind, swiftly extinguished a sari that had inadvertently caught fire on the stove. With the fire extinguished and the door now open, Dhairya embraced his mother, their emotions running high.

Back at Anu's residence, Atharva sought clarification on Chini's knowledge of Dhairya, given that both he and Imlie had only encountered Dhairya after Chini's incarceration, and they had never discussed him previously. Chini, maintaining her innocence, claimed ignorance regarding Dhairya's identity and clarified that she had overheard Imlie refer to her companion as Dhairya. Keya seized the moment to offer her commentary once more.

Dhairya, now back at his home with his mother, recounted how Imlie knew his father, Rudra Rana. Imlie, taken aback, denied any knowledge of this fact. Amma corroborated her claim, recounting Imlie's presence during Rudra's hospitalization. It was then that Imlie learned the startling truth - Rudra was Dhairya's father. Amma expressed her desire to serve malpua to Rudra and urged Imlie to call him. Imlie, however, deemed this task impossible. Dhairya revealed that his mother suffered from dementia, which manifested as an obsession with Rudra, and she consistently remembered his name, even when her own identity faded. He shared photographs of a younger Rudra and amma as evidence. Amma lovingly offered malpua to a photo of Rudra, which Dhairya explained as a manifestation of her persistent delusions. He further disclosed that his mother's ailment had been a lifelong struggle, with her waiting for Rudra each night, even as he grew up taking care of her.

Imlie questioned Dhairya's decision not to reveal the truth to Rudra, especially considering he had worked for Rudra for many years. Dhairya reasoned that people seldom admitted to their sins willingly, and Rudra might reject him outright, branding him as a mistake. Dhairya, harboring a deep-seated desire for revenge, held Atharva responsible for snatching his rightful place before he was even born, allowing Rudra to abandon him and his mother. As this revelation unfolded, Atharva reached out to Imlie, inquiring why she had not answered his calls and expressing concern for her safety. Imlie assured him that she was unharmed and aware of Chini's release from prison. Atharva, grateful for her honesty, urged her to return home soon, assuring her that everyone eagerly awaited her arrival.

Atharva, reflecting on Imlie's candor, commended her for her unwavering trust, despite Chini's attempts to sow discord between them. He chastised Keya and Akash for their involvement in the conspiracy against him and Imlie, casting them as accessories to Chini's malevolent acts. The two culprits departed, their tempers flaring. The family, in turn, taunted Atharva for his unconditional trust and love for Imlie.

Amidst the tumult, Imlie turned to Dhairya, questioning his pursuit of revenge against Atharva. She argued that Rudra, not Atharva, was the true perpetrator, and Dhairya should reconsider his vengeful ambitions. Dhairya, acknowledging Imlie's limited knowledge of him and her observation of his arrogance and anger, affirmed his determination to exact revenge. He cited Atharva as the catalyst for his anguish, holding him responsible for Rudra's abandonment of both him and his mother.

 

COMING UP

Dhairya enters Rana house with his bags. Atharva asks Dhairya who gave him permission to enter his house. Imlie says outsiders should take permission and not dear ones. Atharva asks if she is supporting Dhairya even after knowing truth. Imlie says she will not let someone else also suffer like her mother. Atharva warns her that he will not let his family shatter. Imlie says even she doesn’t want to break his family but can’t forgo her rules. Voiceover says differences are growing, will it bring a new storm.
